• The Tigers dropped to third place after being held to 92 points by the Blaze on Saturday.
• Blaze guard Daniel-son Joyce smoked the Tigers for 13 points (4-of-8), while Rod Grizzard had more turnovers (6) then points and Sam Mackinnon contributed four points in 26 action-packed minutes.

After watching his team succumb to a cruising Melborne Tigers outfit, Sydney Spirit coach Rob Beveridge proclaimed the Tigers' starting five were perhaps the greatest NBL quintet of all-time.
